HOTGLUE is a visual tool for creating websites directly in the web-browser. HOTGLUE is an interesting alternative to over-complicated systems like Wordpress, Drupal, etc. HOTGLUE works in a similar way to word processing and image manipulation software in the way that objects can be dragged and dropped to alter their positioning, sizing and visual properties.
The video below shows myself creating and manipulating my first page in HOTGLUE, the page contains some text, a YouTube video, two Soundcloud widgets and a background.
From the video you can see how easy it is to make a basic webpage in HOTGLUE and add basic elements such as text, images, videos and sounds. I liked the simplicity of HOTGLUE however I felt that it was limiting and styling specific elements was difficult.
