Personal Branding

For the personal branding exercise I was given the task of designing and producing a graphic and implementing the website to portray myself. To start with I had to think about who I was as a person and ways in which my website could get my personality across. Since I am a calm person who likes simplistic designs I decided to use a lot of black and white with the occasional cold colours such as light blues.

After deciding on a colour scheme I designed a logo for myself to use, I started by drawing the letters 'J' and 'P' for my initials in different styles and eventually I came to the conclusion that I liked the "pixel looking" letters.

However, once I got to this stage I didn't like the way it looked digitally since it was too straight edged. Eventually I decided to use my middle initial which is 'M' and came up with this.

I liked this design better since I think it portrays my personality better as it shows curved shapes and lowercase letters which are more informal than the first design.
